No, there is no special voice recognition software needed. However, please note, Hands Free Poker works exclusively with Windows Vista, due to the excellent voice recognition support. Please note, Windows XP is NOT supported at this time due to the lack of voice recognition support. This is currently beyond our control and will be fixed in the years to come with a third party engine. IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS XP, please understand it is not supported, although it should install OK. The voice recognition simply requires 5-10 minutes of voice training which involves reading simple passages through the headset allowing the computer to learn your voice idiosyncrasies. This training will ensure the highest quality voice recognition.

Hands Free Poker sells excellent compatible digital headsets because we felt having a quality headset is a MUST for proper performance. The digital headset you can buy plugs into your computer via a USB plug, rather than the standard green microphone jack, which is NOT digital and there can be quite a bit of noise/interference before your computer "hears" it. Bottom line, you will get much better performance with a digital headset and Hands Free Poker. Further, Hands Free Poker strongly recommends a headset with an in-line mute function so that you can mute the microphone at certain times if you don't want ambient noise to accidentally affect the software. That depends on the version. Hands Free Poker Basic edition only supports one table. Hands Free Poker Pro edition supports multi-table switching in a very unique and forward thinking way. It even allows you to pre-fill the checkboxes so that you can quickly move onto the next table that needs attention. The active table is designated with a red bar around the table. The software will seamlessly switch between Poker Stars and Full Tilt tables as well.

There are many "shortcut" commands built into Hands Free Poker to facilitate common bets. For instance, "bet pot" will bet the amount in the pot automatically with no need for the mouse or keyboard. "one click" very conveniently mimics mouse control by betting one click to the right of the scroll bar. There are quite a few more shortcut commands to facilitate betting using only voice commands. VOICE COMMAND - RESULT

SPECIFIC FOR THE GAME TABLE (ONLY WHEN THE TABLE IS UP)

fold	-	Induce the button "Fold" to be pressed.
pass	-	Induce the button "Pass" to be pressed.
check	-	Induce the button "Check" to be pressed.
call	-	Induce the button "Call" to be pressed.
raise	-	Induce the "Raise/Bet" pop up screen to be appear. This will accept the number to Raise/Bet and then press the Raise button.
bet pot	-	On Full Tilt, induce the Bet Pot button to be pressed. On Poker Stars, bet the amount in the pot as indicated by the number above the chip tray.
bet twice pot	-	On Poker Stars only, this command will bet two times the amount in the pot as indicated by the number above the chip tray.
all in	-	The system will confirm all in, then raise all of the users remaining money
one click	-	Induce one mouse click to the right of the scroll bar.
two clicks	-	Induce two mouse clicks to the right of the scroll bar.
xxx clicks	-	Induce xxx mouse clicks to the right of the scroll bar. Xxx can be any number up to 5.
clear	-	Removes all content from text box in Raise/Rebuy command. Useful when the user says incorrect amount.
show me hand history	-	Induce the display of the hand history window.
time	-	Induce the button "Time" to be pressed when the player is taking longer than usual to decide what to do

SPECIFIC FOR THE HAND HISTORY (ONLY WHEN THE HAND HISTORY WINDOWS IS UP)

previous hand	-	Induce the program to highlight the previous hand.
next hand	-	Induce the program to highlight the next hand.
close	-	Induce the button "Close" to be pressed on the hand history window.

confirmation mode on	-	Confirmation mode is turned ON
confirmation mode off	-	Confirmation mode is turned OFF
ok	-	Induce the button "OK" to be pressed on the active dialog window

Yes, all normal mouse/keyboard functions still work while Hands Free Poker is running. Hands Free Poker is simply another means to manipulate the poker tables. In fact, it is STRONLY recommended to use the mouse/keyboard in important situations as ones voice, pitch, etc. can change significantly when one is nervous/excited, etc. The goal of Hands Free Poker is to take the majority of the burden of online poker away from the mouse/keyboard, not to replace it entirely. This tool should be used in conjunction with the mouse/keyboard although it does not need to be.
